recently i read the diary of one elinor valjean, who was a royal servant in the court of henry the eight in the times of his first (catherine) and second(anne) wives. she wanted to be a boy like you, but she wasn't funny or witty, like you. she could be quite serious sometimes, but one of her dreams was to be a court jester like her father.

her diary was interesting. i learnt a lot about the lives of catherine of aragon, her king, and the woman he left her for, anne boleyn. previously i have always kind of admired anne boleyn, she seemed like such a strong, smart woman. but she was a harlot! smart, but still. queen catherine should be more popular than anne(in future). but i guess the good, kind ones are always forgotten.

in the end i quite enjoyed her life and her stories, and am looking forward to reliving it all over again.

i'm writing this to you because i want to tell you that i may come across many, many stories of people living in the old times, but you will always be my favourite medieval girl.

i dont understand people who disposes toxic waste(s?) into rivers or wherever they feel like it.

i dont understand people who doesnt drop their recycling stuffs nicely over at the recycling center. the area around it is civilised. unfortunately, not all the people IN it are.

i dont understand people who purchases exotic pets for pleasure, and then simply abandon them when they get too complicated to take care of.

i dont understand people who thinks that people who are not married by a certain age is pitiful, and have no idea what true happiness is.

dudes of tv2, you did not just put the movie One Hour Photo for your valentines special line-ups. that is just whack! you couldn't have! did you even know what the movie is all about? dudes. there is a creepy obsessive man. a husband cheats on his wife. perfect lives are not so perfect afterall. it's a thriller/drama. imdb says so. hardly the stuffs of romance and gooey warm feelings. my mom said 'well, they are not smart in the english dept. so what do you expect?' please tell me it's not that bad. i'll say it again. dudes. that is whack!

1. i think i could watch federer give his speech and cry a number of times. it's not that i have a crush on him or anything, though he is sweet looking, but isn't he just amazing? to achieve what he had?
2. is it normal to think about a long-lost pen-friend and wonder if she is still alive, and then proceed to imagine the rest of the correspondence (with her brother) if she has died? i know. disturbing if you ask me.
3. i had a dream about the whole dooce clan. it's a nice dream. we were buddies. but maybe this slight obsession and ultimate adoration must stop. i mean, dude. how whack was that?
